Immigration

The firm's areas of specialization include employment-based and family-based immigration law, petitions for non-immigrant visas and immigrant visas, and applications for lawful permanent residence (also known as adjustment of status) and naturalization. Our Seattle immigration lawyers, who include Robert Wells and Vickie Li, are among the best in their fields of practice.

Our business related immigration practice includes private and corporate investment in the United States and the transfer of executive and managerial personnel; non-immigrant employment petitions for H-1B (professional worker), L-1A/L-1B (intra-company transferee), TN (Canadian/Mexican NAFTA), E-3 (Australia), and H-1B1 (Singapore/Chile), among others [note: these are sometimes labeled differently, such as H1B, H1b, L1A, L1a, L1B, L1b, etc.]; permanent labor certification (PERM) applications for a variety of occupations including aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, information technology, architecture, geology, horticulture, and the culinary arts; as well as immigrant visa petitions for outstanding researchers, individuals of extraordinary ability, and managers/executives.

Our family-based immigration law legal services include immigrant visa petitions, permanent resident applications, I-601 waivers, fiancé petitions, and the removal of conditional status (Form I-751).  We also assist with consular processing abroad and naturalization.
