Sally Lanham, EsqSally is a Family Law attorney.  She works with people in all aspects of their relationships with other family members.   She helps people with adoptions, domestic partnership agreements, divorces, paternity suits, mediation and other related matters.  She also works closely with other attorneys in the firm on wills and other estate matters.

It seems that each year brings new types of actions that require court intervention. The State of Washington, for example, has passed a new statute that limits and controls the ability of a parent to move with a child.  Because it is a new law there is a lot of uncertainty and variability in how the law is applied.   We also are a state struggling with what rights, if any Grandparents can see in this state.

Ms. Lanham's cases range from those that are very straightforward to those with multiple business entities or unforseen complications.  We have the resources to assist a case of any size and twist.

Sally does this kind of work because she likes to help people see the light at the end of the tunnel.  People go to lawyers and want them to re-write the history.  They want to right a wrong.   But most of all they want to be able to resolve the conflict and move forward.  She will try and explain that we have all seen and read enough science fiction to know what happens when the past is changed.   Lawyers in her field do more to help to pick up the pieces and reorganize them in a way that works for the reality that will be the future.

Education and Personal Background

Ms. Lanham received her law degree from the University of Idaho (JD 1985), where her honors included:  Academic Member of the Idaho Law Review, Summer Editor of the Law Review, American Jurisprudence Award for Property, Founding Member of the Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity.  She earlier received her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University (B.S. 1977).  Sally also speaks Spanish.
